While I knew in advance that the photographs of Cartier-Bresson were not a major part of those available for viewing at this musee I was nevertheless disappointed to find that not only was the number rather small but the space allotted and presentation were poor....More

Zbigniew Dłubak, Héritier des Avant-gardes, 17 January – 27 April 2018. Zbigniew Dłubak (1921-2005), survived Mathausen concentration camp, and after the war contributed much to art development in Poland. His interest also covered painting, and in both mediums he sought for abstraction. Nice concise exposition,...More

Very interesting 3 floors of exhibitions. Lots of great Cartier-Bresson photos, both classic and lesser known ones. Such stunning compositions.

Impressive building and garden but… The exhibition was a sheer disappointed! I felt as we paid for nothing. At least we enjoyed very much the architecture of the building designed By Jean Nouvel. Go for the building not for the current exhibition.

The Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation's exhibits play an important role preserving the photographer's work as well as introducing visitors to temporary exhibits in its rather smallish space. My two star rating is mainly due to disappointment at the near absence of a permanent collection by Cartier-Bresson....More

Out of the way but worth visiting if you have the time. We knew nothing about the special exhibit before we went, but it was excellent (Francesca Woodman). There were very few of Bresson's photos on display.
