Looking at the famous Luxor obelisk at the Place de la Concorde, is like gazing back into ancient history. If you can ignore the hectic traffic around the square, you are bound to match this ancient relic. Photo-up galore.

This 23 m high ancient egypt obelisk from Luxor is standing in the middle of Place de la Concorde. It's nice to see an original obelisk outside Egypt.

Located in the center of Place de la Concorde, this 3000-year-old Egyptian obelisk, which formerly stood outside the Temple of Luxor, is the centerpiece of the square. The obelisk is 75 feet tall, decorated with hieroglyphs and capped with a gilded pyramid.
