Staff were very friendly and helpful and all spoke excellent English. Got a free upgrade with terrace which was very nice. Dinner in restaurant was very good as was the included breakfast. Great location. I'd definitely come again.

This is an OK Metro station where most of the large boulevards of Paris coincide. Very close to all the shopping areas of Paris and Galeries Lafayette and Printemps department stores dominate Boulevard Haussmann with real Belle Epoque grandeur. Worth exploring the area but not...More

First of all, the map shown by trip advisor is incorrect. This is not the location of Grands Boulevard near the Palais. The metro stop of the same name is on Boulevard Montmarte which leads right into Boulevard Haussmann. This is a very vibrant area,...More

This is where everyone when strolling way back when. Today the old fashioned luxe cafes have been somewhat replaced by chain restaurants. But it's still pretty special. Very long walk so take breaks. Lot of places to sit and have a drink. Lots of traffic...More

It seems to be a good area to stay at. Many stores, places to eat, and... hotels! Besides that, it's a charming area, but can be full of tourists at times.

The Grands Boulevards area is located around the Metro station of the same name. It is a very lively, vibrant area. This part of Paris is full of small theatres and cinemas, as well as many sidewalk cafés and restaurants. What attracts tourists and locals...More

Les Grands Boulevards is what can be compared as New York's Broadway or London's West End, but much smaller. There're indeed many theatres in this area but most of them are small! There're also many nice restaurants and shops!

The metro station for lines 8 and 9, opened in 1931, was built under the area known for its wide boulevards. These broad streets were built on the old city ramparts and were the center of the fashionable life in the 19th century There are...More
