- Brown_SamanthaKennewick, Washington1,665 contributionsOur favorite Paris bridge with ornate and extravagant sculptures and monumentsThis is by far our favorite bridge to visit in Paris. We always come to visit this "old friend" when we are in Paris. It is grand, with many stunning sculptures and monuments. Location is superb too. You can get to the Champs-Élysées quarter, the Invalides and view of Eiffel Tower from the bridge. It is so photogenic. We walk down to the river Seine level to see it on both sides. Depending the time of day, you need to walk around to get the best "side"Visited June 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 8, 2023
- CAROLYN HOrlando, Florida26 contributionsEye Candy BridgeBeautiful bridge. My hubby and I walked along the Seine River from the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre. The Pont Alexandre III is the most decorative bridge of the many we viewed. The statuary on both sides and the architecture of the bridge itself is beautiful. I think it is best to view it from off the bridge. Look at it and the statues from a variety of locations and distances. I hear one should also try to view it at different times of day.Visited July 2023Written July 13, 2023
- AlexanderDJackson, New Jersey4,615 contributionsGorgeous Bridge, Great ViewsThe Alexander III bridge is remarkable. It is a work of art and I was very impressed. Many people say it is Paris’s most beautiful bridge and they may be correct. There are also views of the Seine, with the Louvre in the distance but also the Hotel Invalides and the Grand Palau’s. There is even a decent view of the Eiffel Tower. They were doing repairs when I was there and so we didn’t get to experience the full thing but that’s okay.Visited August 2023Traveled with familyWritten August 23, 2023
- IrishRoverPittsburgh, Pennsylvania2,987 contributionsGrand brindle in the city of lightsIf you are walking along the Seine between the Grand Palice and the Louvre it is hard to miss. A very spectacular piece of architecture. Also the perfect place to grab pictures at sunset. It is in my opinion the prettiest bridge of a city with many bridgesVisited September 2023Traveled soloWritten September 6, 2023
- IQKaurBengaluru, India387 contributionsDon’t miss itSomehow having missed this bridge on previous visits, we made a point to visit it this time around and I am glad that we did The bridge itself is very beautiful and offers great vistas over Seine. However the best part is after sunset when the bridge lights up and you can see lighted Eiffel as well from it. Worth visiting just for it even if you are not fan of architecture or historyVisited September 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten September 23, 2023

Amazing majestic bridge providing fantastic views of central Paris and amazing scenery along the Seine. The grandeur of the brige is truly impressive and has to be the best of all the Paris bridges. Take a stroll over!

Wide bridge over the Seine that if crosses moving south heads towards the Eiffel Tower, and if north, Champs Elysees. The bridge is decorated with numerous statues and is in my opinion the most impressive bridge in all of Paris.

on my walk around Paris. It has the most ornate (gilt ?) sculptures at both ends high on pillars. Top views across the Seine to Eiffel and Petit Palais.

Hello, is there a nice restaurant near the seine that we can sit, eat, and enjoy the bridge view?

I do believe there is a river boat restaurant underneath. But there are none near the bridge itself. Not a place to have a meal anyway - too busy and noisy with traffic.

It is really close to Champs Élysées. When we went in December the Xmas markets were a block away on the Champs Élysées.
We caught the train to Arc De Triomphe, climbed to the top for the spectacular view over Paris, then walked down the Champs Élysées and window shopped then made our way to the Xmas markets. Walked over Ponte Alexandre and watched the lights sparkle on the Eiffel Tower before catching the train back to our hotel.

i assume you want to make a reservation for an hotel near the pont alexander..? if yes, i reccoment hotel jardins de l eiffel rue amelie. it is a very comfortable hotel, near rue st dominique with shops and boutiques of a real neighborhood and rue clair where you have every conceivable delicious food shopping you can dream of. the price is right for the quality. it is near the invalides, the champs elyses, the petit and grand palais and a subway ride to the louvre (or a nice walk along the Seine).
if you are talking about the bridge, it is not for rent. hope this hep

Hallo.
