You'll come here if you book a terrific boat tour of Canal St. Martin. The stone building at the Bassin is one of the few remaining toll and tax booths from the old walls. Very busy and ethnic part of the city.

This place is located near Bassin de la Vilette. A square with a big (dry) fountain and a restaurant in a beautiful building ( it's supposed to be a roundabout in the past). It's a relax place to sit down.

Small place for people to sit around, i saw some playing with a soccer ball as well. Right in front of the Grand Marche which is a good rest. The river is right there and some others places to eat as well

Stalingrad is a multicultural place in Paris. There you can find many cheap restaurants and shops. Also, the area is crowded with people from different nationalities and culture. It is worth a visit.

The place is in the middle of Paris' fascinating canals and where you will catch the terrific barge tour on Canal St. Martin. See the old toll house building, now with a lovely cafe/restaurant. Meeting place for lots of immigrants.

Beautiful place, lots of nice restaurants, very local and good feeling, in spring the blossoms are beautiful. Very relaxed, not too many tourists, definitely worth exploring if you wanna get away from all the crowdy obvious places

This futuristic landscape has come to define the
northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed
with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a
wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science
museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime
explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus
cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the
summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to
