This place is not worth the time to visit. Complete waste of time and money. I can’t believe anyone would consider this stuff to be artwork.

If it was free, I would not go…

What is this place? Palais de Tokyo is a total waste of time. I want to get a refund. Wow, what is this place doing here? What am I doing here? Ha ha. Do NOT go here. I’m not sure who would find this place even remotely interesting. Trust me, even if u could get in here for free, u would not be happy at all. Don’t waste your time coming here. Wow. I would actually be embarrassed to tell people that I came here. Palais de Tokyo is a total waste of time and money. It’s open late? Wow. What a joke. This place should be torn down and replaced with a hotel or something.

They promote pedofilia, there were pictures of a child with hands tied behind his back being forced to relate a grown man , disgusting , not what I call art .

Visited the MAM ... Modern Art Museum recently and it was a real pleasure. Saw the phenomenal rooms given over to works by Raoul Dufy and Henri Matisse and some fine modern works by French artists and those who lived in Paris during the 20th century. For Matisse alone it is worth a visit and entrance to the permanent collection is free.

Advertised for its free admission, a recent visit proved a disappointment. The ‘free’ permanent collection is closed to the public, but there were 2 feature exhibitions, each with a separate ticketed admission. Advise finding a better use of your tourist time.

What a great visit for me and anyone who likes to see where contemporary art pushes boundaries and tests imaginations. The building is part of the exhibition, with its mixture of interconnecting structural forms and levels, exposed services and scars of change. I love this place of honesty where the services in the building such as wiring and pipework sit happily alongside the artworks and in harmony too. The staff are friendly, the restaurant and cafe are excellent. The entrance fee of €12 (€9 for over 60's) is the best value for money entertainment (I spent 4 hours there) that you will find, if you have a love of art that challenges you to think outside the box and work a little at what's on offer, not just sit back and expect a wafer thin plot with 2 dimensional characters...For me this place is Frances' spiritual home of contemporary art...

It is reopening weekend but not as crowded as I expected. You must be careful to see every room as it can be confusing. The Hans Hartung was very insightful, covering his entire career. There are lots of big names with multiple pieces but also some artists who I wasn't familiar.

12€ seemed a very high price for what it was.many museums of this type are free in other cities. Perhaps this one should have been free too?
