We ate at the Italian restaurant with our 10 year old. Excellent pastas and drinks. Very casual atmosphere, family style seating, good value.

We arranged a food tour with Discover Walks and asked that we visit the closest market to our AirB&B. This market was just right! It is not huge, but had everything we needed. The cheesemonger was very helpful.

We stayed in an AirBnb near the Marche des Enfants Rouges and just happened to wander in there. What a charming market, the oldest in Paris- established in 1615! If you go, you MUST eat at Le Traitor Marocain, the Moroccan food stall. We ate...More

We went when we were in the neighborhood and it was nice. Lots of good fresh produce and fruit besides the fresh seafood. There are restaurants all around the outside and it was crowded. They also have a nice selection of flowers at one end....More

We were introduced to this lovely foodie market on a food walking tour of the Marais. It has a wonderful cheese counter, many produce vendors, and about a half dozen very interesting takeaway food counters, and a couple of sit-down places. The first time we...More

I always hit this market when in Paris and we came around lunch time on a Saturday and were able to find seat right away at a new seafood stall in the market - Les Enfants fu Marche. = - more on that later. The...More

This little outdoor market is always crowded, but the lines are worthwhile if you want to try some of Paris' best street food. The Moroccan stand, Alain's crêpes and the organic juices are all delicious. The place is also very cute, with its floral displays...More

I love open air markets in foreign countries and this was the closest to the apartment we were staying at. Frankly, I was just going to get some fresh veggies, cheese, etc for later (which I did) but was surprised to see that they had...More

I'm a foodie who relishes in visiting the world's food markets and I went out of my way in Paris to check out Marché des Enfants Rouges. It was a disappointment. I arrived early on a Saturday and the market was already bustling. It's tucked...More

I went on Saturday afternoon and it was a madhouse. It would have been fine if the place was nicer in general, but the market is shabby and messy and the crowds are really too much to bear. I stood in line for the Le...More

I don't know but I was there on Christmas Day and it was open but only a couple of stalls were active. I would think it will be more likely to have more stalls open on New Years Day than Christmas but I am not sure.
