We went there early in the morning middle of July empty streets everyone still asleep another wonderful day in Paris. We had to wait a while for opening. Great tiny graveyard. Hidden among old houses. Right in the middle of Montmartre yet so quiet and kind of forgotten. Plants and flowers all around. Smells of roses.. and coffee from the neighbouring flats... Cats relaxing after a busy night... among the tombstones of their friends: Ayme, Utrillo, Steinlen, Gen Paul and many others that once lived in Montmartre and still do.. This graveyard is full of life. So inspiring you enter it as a traveller you leave it as a poet...
