While visiting Paris with two friends we decided to look for a lesbian friendly bar. Billed as the oldest “lesbian bar” in Paris, ‘Champmesle’ was terrible. Lonely Planet sent us on this wild goose chase’ “75% Lesbian” ? Hell no! Cigarette smoke, male bartender and greeter. . only 3 women there. . Ya’ll it was pitiful. Drink prices were exorbitant. This bar is not just a lesbian bar but a lesbian and gay bar ,and hetero people are welcome too so why couldn't we have a male bartender.and for the price don't forget you're in a night bar and you're in paris so the price is just normal for paris. Thanks for your visit

Nice relaxed place for some pre-dinner drinks. Surprisingly quiet on a Friday night (it was still early) but we liked it. I had a beer and my friend had a glass of red wine. Special compliments on the music, they were playing "Voi Che Sapete" from "The Marriage of Figaro"! :)
