We saw this building quite a few times and it resembled an Acropolis style building. Then we were walking and came across it and I just have to say wow! It’s an immense and awesome building and I wish I could have witnessed a service...More

Huge 19th Century church built where a number of boulevards come together. Looks like a Greek temple, but it's a Catholic church, very dark inside.

Reflecting the antique revival taste of the early XIXth century the exterior resembles a Greek Temple. Restoration work is underway. The interior, recently renovated is more Roman in its inspiration. The Church had a political purpose as indicated by the presence of Napoleon and various kings...More

Large imposing church in a central location. If you go to a concert, sit near the front, acoustics good, but not great.

We just see this great building because we are going to buy Maille Dijon Mustard in the area and decided to see it first before we refill my wife’s preserved bottle only for mustard.

This is a gigantic and stunning church, located in the Opera district in Paris. Both the exteriors and the interiors are imposing and beautifully designed. The acoustics inside the church is absolutely wonderful. Well worth the visit.

A beautiful place to visit. Massive exterior and stunning interior. Many visitors on a midweek morning. Exterior appeared to be being prepped for renovation.

This one is really amazing. Must-see in Paris. Made my Napoleon so there's some history. Imposing from outside and beautiful on the inside

Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle
époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades,
and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here,
modern day workers continue to take advantage of the
legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th
century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and
cinemas sit side by side with French bistros
predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in

The church is usually open daily. I don't know the exact hours but at least from 8 am to 6 pm and later if there any concert or event. If there is a wedding in progress, that would be a great time. A wedding here is... More
