Champs Elysees Avenue is one of the most charming places you will find around the world. You can find the best brands over here and many chic restaurants. It's definitely a must for those who are visiting Paris.
Lovely looking monument. It's in the middle of a very busy roundabout. We didn't get a chance to go to the top hence 3 stars. Looks much better when the lights come on in the evening. Looks amazing looked down the shopping avenue and seeing...More
Unsure what i expected really...
Just a very busy street with very expensive shops...and a stone arch at the top.
Hop on hop off bus goes there so handy in that respect, everything completely overpriced, £4 for bottle of water and £3.50 for small coffee.
The arc is marvellous . The sculptures are great and the area is just so good for showing solidarity for agreements and disagreements .....Napolean ordered for it but never saw it ...as it took over 40 years to complete
Took an independent tour with access to the very top. So worth it to see the entire City from that perspective once you get past all those steps and the winding staircase. Not many places can give you such a shot of the entire Paris...More
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This
neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
