Place du Tertre is located very close to Sacre Coeur on Montmartre's d village square. One of the highest points in Paris and is very charming. Many artists flock here to paint portraits for a price. Be aware of overpriced restaurants in this area.

So quintessentially French with it's pavement cafés and artists amongst the quaint Monmartre with the background of the beautiful Sacre Coeur. A definitely 'must see' for any visitor to Paris. The steps are much more numerous even than they appear. I would advise anyone who...More

Restaurants with sidewalk tables surrounded the square. Many artist were in the square with some paintings for 10-15 Euros. Not far from Sacre Couer

A beautiful place to see artists doing their thing. But some future famous art pieces maybe? This place looks as if it’s been stuck in time and a beautiful place it is too. The food and drink establishments are a real rip off so avoid...More

When walking around Montmartre we happened upon Place du Tertre. There must have been 75- 100 artists in this square practicing and selling their art. Many of them were excellent and the prices we overheard being quoted were quite good. Even though it was cold...More

church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano

I do not really know. However, can you not email the town hall and ask them for a list of the artists. Best luck. 0 seconds ago
