This is the final resting place for Napoleon Bonaparte who played such a large part in French history. The church is very large and amazing and houses in its centre Napoleon in what is purpose built .

Napolean's final resting place is here in this large beautiful church surrounded by lovely gardens. Make sure to visit the neighboring military museum.

Napoleon is buried here, so if you are a fan, you need to come and pay homage. Me, not so much. It's a big impressive church.

The presentation is quite spectacular, in large part because it borders on sparse. Obviously, Napolean's tomb is the central focus here, but it is not the only reason to visit.

Located within walking distance from the Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower, about 15 minutes. Why visit? The burial place of Napoleon is cool and historical. The sarcophagus is huge. Love history then this is for you.

You have to go out and around to the entrance in front. Well worth the walk though. There is also a nice snack bar and gift shop on the way around. Hope you enjoy the trip.
