This beautiful square stays in Le Marais neighborhood, where there was a great jewish community in Paris. In one of the corners, there is the Victor Hugo's house, the famous writer who wrote "Les Miserables". Have a sit in the grass in sunny days of...More

A very nice square, named before Place Royale. It was built under Henry IV between 1605 and 1612. The lovely small park is surrounded by similar buildings with apparent brick. In the park is the equestrian statue of Louis XIII, the master of the musketeers...More

This is a very pretty park - full of folks during the day time and has a couple great places for breakfast/cappuccino in the morning. If you stay adjacent to this park - beware - this park turns into a big party scene in the...More

In the charming Marais district, the Place des Vosges is Paris' oldest public square, spaciously laid out in harmoniously uniform style. This elegant square provided a model for other squares such as Place Vendôme and Place de la Concorde. The Place de Vosges was constructed...More

Place de Vosges is a very nice place to spend some hours in its gardens, drinking some soda or a delicious icecream, that hou can buy on the corner. You can also visit Victor Hugo’s house, a wonderful experience.

This has to be the most beautiful square in all of Paris. Highly recommended on a warm sunny day to sunbathe, read a book, eat gelato from nearby Amorino, or simply people watch. Lots of benches, but most sprawled out on the grass. Gorgeous surroundings,...More

A lovely little park to relax in, surrounded by beautiful, identical mansions. It is on all the lists as a must-see, but Jardin du Luxembourg and the Tuileries have it beat in my book.
