- MinKyung LimParis, France1 contributionChagall, Paris-New-York, special and amazing experienceWhile preparing for my trip to Paris, I searched a France website and came across a must-see exhibition in Paris in 2023. Among them, I decided to watch Chagall, Paris-New-York at Atelier des Lumieres. So I made a reservation online in advance and saw the exhibition. It was so nice to see and feel Chagall's representative works and Paul Klee's works together. It's not enough to explain in words, so I think it would be nice to go and see and feel it together with the music. It was so fantastic, so cool, and really the best. If you are planning a trip to Paris, I definitely recommend going.Visited April 2023Traveled soloWritten April 1, 2023
- travlingmama283 contributionsWell spent hourThe longer I was there, the more I enjoyed the art and digital experience The accompanying music was perfect. It was fun to see the little children chasing around the images on the floor - as the images were everywhere. A very fun hour to sit and chill out.Visited April 2023Written April 12, 2023
- Hugbug23Mt Martha, Australia242 contributionsOutstanding art, light & sound showThis is our second time here, we came to the original show featuring Gustav Klimpt, and Chagall was just as good. The atmosphere in the building, the sound & images, so good. We’ll be back next week for the encore of TinTin. If you can…go!Visited April 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten April 14, 2023
- CBSMylesCambridge, United Kingdom42 contributionsMind blowing - a great way to really experience an artist with a modern twistWe tried to go the the Louvre but the queue was too long so we found this instead as we were looking for a bit of culture. What a find!!!! This place is truly amazing. They take an artists life story and project the artwork digitised and remastered all over what I can only describe as a warehouse with lots of interesting angles and hidden spaces. Kids and adults will love this, children will though need to be well behaved and kept quiet as it is a space for people to site, relax and enjoy. Was so much fun watching one of the fish from a painting by Marc Chagall swim down a projected river I was standing in on the floor. The scale is huge. So good we stayed and watched it a second time.Visited May 2023Traveled with familyWritten June 1, 2023
- timfl2016Urbana, Illinois195 contributionsA new kind of art experienceI went there without a high expection, but I ended up thoroughly enjoying the visual and aural experience. Having seen various Marc Chagall's creations, this was the first time I decided to sit down to take it all in. Definitely worth a visit!Visited May 2023Written June 2, 2023
- John AHanoi, Vietnam202 contributionsBeautifulVery immersive experience, exceeded my expectations. The works of Chagall are relatively unfamiliar to me, but I'm a fan after this. They come alive here, and the show is integrated well with the music. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying this.Visited June 2023Written June 25, 2023
- Florence A1 contributionAtelier des LumiéresWe went to this immersive event in Paris in 2019 (Van Gogh) and again last month (Chagall/Klee) 2023. Enjoyed it VERY much both times. You can walk around while the show is playing or you can sit and watch it all around you. We watch the Van Gogh event 4 times through and the Chagall just 2 times.Visited September 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 3, 2023

Exhibits rotate a couple times a year, but there's also something for everyone. The Chagall was very nice of late. Procure a timed entry ticket and be sure to get there on time. There are eateries nearby and the metro isn't too far either. Very enjoyable experience. Bathrooms and gift shop on site too. Staff was friendly and helpful.Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten November 20, 2023

I have seen most of the shows and each was unique and fascinating and a feast for the eyes and ears. The venue is large and cavernous so the experience surrounds you. The soundtracks perfectly matching the visuals. I give Atelier des Luminieres my highest recommendation for all ages. No one too young or old for this immersive experience.Visited December 2023Traveled with familyWritten January 5, 2024

We saw the Chagall exhibition; it was incredible to be literally surrounded by Chagall's art!! I also enjoyed the 10-minute Paul Klee exhibition, as well as the information provided upstairs on both artists.

It was just a documentary of collection of pictures; even kids got bored. We went to Ocean related exhibition. Not sure why there were so much of crowd. Expected some kind of experience in viewing art related exhibition with light and sound.

Each visit is a sensory experience and a highly personal, immersive journey.
Your feedback is important to us, and we are constantly striving to improve our services and the quality of our exhibitions.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Atelier des Lumières for a future exhibition.

Be warned of their website & ticketing process is extremely confusing. This past Friday I went to the website to purchase 2 tickets for the following day. I was presented the option of 10a which I selected. Each ticket was $35 Euro which seemed expensive but the website showed it had the Marc Chagall and shark exhibits so figured okay. We show up on Saturday and see the exact same tickets are available for $11 euro. So I ask the ticket attendent why are my tickets 3x? She said "oh no this happens all the time people think they're getting access to 2 shows but really it's only 1 and the website is confusing". So apperaantly I made $35 dollars/ticket for the ability to come whenever I wanted on Saturday -- but was assigned 10a. So I was supposed to know it was flexible?! I requested a refund for the difference and was told "it's against our policy to provide refunds". So I essentially paid $70 euro for something that should have been $22-ish euros. Not worth it and really disappointing customer service.

If your schedule permits, you won’t be disappointed if you make time for an hour or two at Atelier des Lumières.
It far exceeded our expectations. The creativity and artistry involved in the productions are enormously impressive.

Fui un día de semana. Pero entiendo que no es gratuito ningún día de la semana ya que se trata de un emprendimiento privado. Hay descuento para mayores de 65 años. Saludos y si va que lo disfrute.

I wanted to book tickets for the 5th of January 2022 but on the website I don't see any exhibitions between the 2nd of January and the 18th of February. Am I right in thinking that the museum will be closed during that period?
