This basilique is worth the time to see!!! We took the train from Paris to Reims and spent a wonderful wet day there. The Catherdal is huge and has just had some new restoration done to it. The Chagal windows are amazing. There is so...More

The Basilique is old and its dark and it has the remains of a Saint who died over 1500 years ago. When we visited we were the only ones there. It doesn't get any better than that!

Worth a visit! It’s incredible inside! It’s easy to walk to and I actually was more amazed by it than the Cathedral. It’s really huge and it just beautiful. I felt really reserved when was inside!

Even better than Cathedral. Would love to go back with more time to absorb the serenity and history.

We parked nearby on a street with a trailer for free. The Basilica of St Remi is so understated, yet impressively majestic inside. A beautiful Romanesque and early gothic building where the kings of France used to be buried.

This is a beautiful and historic abbey and well worth visiting. We only came here on our second trip to Reims and that was a mistake. It is lovely and a highlight.

The Basilique is a very nice buidling to visit and I would say a must see of Reims. The outside is much more basic than the Cathedrale but the Inside is very beautiful. Since it is a curch, in France, it is free to visit.

I went here with my wife after seeing the Reims Cathedral, which I thought was better than Notre Dame in Paris. I honestly thought it was even better than the other cathedral in Reims. Although both are really good. My wife wanted to spend 2€...More

Reims Cathedral is a stunning piece of Gothic architecture and worthy of seeing, however, if in Reims it would be a shame to not visit Saint-Remi Basilica. UNESCO listed in 1991. St. Remi, Bishop of Reims who baptised Clovis, died in 533. His tomb was...More

Sadly this cathedral needs a bit of maintaining. There is an archeological dog happening next to it but the front itself is very unkept.
