Close to the mayor's office (Hôtel de ville), this 13th century monument has a long history associated with it. It is not isolated like most other cathedrals of the era.

Whenever I visit these cathedrals I am impressed by the remarkable architecture executed in days where technology wasn’t as it is today and still they managed to build such astounding buildings that stay erect to-date. The interior isn’t the most impressive I have seen there...More

This 13th century church is considered a masterpiece of gothic architecture. It's imposing structure from the outside is covered in gargoyles. On the inside you'll find beautiful stained glass windows in the north transept that still exist from the 13th century.

Its Notre Dame. Its a must-see. The architecture is stunning - and the views from the top are amazing. I can't imagine going to Paris and not at least stopping by Notre Dame.

Loved it. Dijon old town is beautiful and the city of great food. Definitely worth a least a couple of nights stop.

Lovely Roman Catholic Church in the middle of Dijon dates back to 1220. Stunning stained glass windows! As you enter and walk down main aisle and turn around to see stunning organ with tapestry beneath.

I love seeing the history of my ancestors. The history in this Quartier is amazing, to see the outside walls of the town from hundreds of years ago is unlike anything you see in North America. I recommend you stop by to see this beauty.
