We have visited the Roman theatre several times, both during the day and at night. For us, the best time to visit the theatre is at night for spectacles such as 'Jules César' (2015) and 'Augustodunum' (2017). Then, you really feel the connection with its...More

It is very nice to freely roam in a more than 1500 year old place, climb the stairs and having a nice view over the lake.

This Roman Theater ruins is just near the lake and is much bigger than I was expecting. You are able to walk completely through and around. No cost, lots of areas to park.

Relatively well preserved roman theatre. When we visited in December, there were very few people present, and therefore the parking was completely empty (and free, also the visit).

This is an interesting site for a visit of an hour or two and you can see one of the largest amphitheater’s of its time. Some parts of it are well preserved. Adjacent to the site is a very pretty lake with nice walking paths.

To Friends here for the evenings entertainment. Brilliant can't believe the energy and commitment these enthusiastic amateur thespians have. A good night and money well spent.

Once the largest ampitheatre in the whole of Gaul, this is a lovely place to stop by and see the view of the lake. It has been left to nature in some ways with grass growing etc, but still is well-maintained, and concerts are held...More

This is a Roman amphitheatre that has been left to its own devices. It is interesting to imagine what it would have been like in roman times Worth going if you are already in Autin
