You must sit in de bar area on the rightt side of the hotel. This is a nice looking bar area with trendy seats and good beer. Now quite empty due to Corona but otherwise a good place to grab a beer or cocktail after a long strole alknd the walls of Saint Malo. Not cheap but who cares, you must enjoy life once in a while.

Lovely bar and great cocktails unfortunately our experience was tainted by the service. There was 14 in our party which we understand may make for them asking for the bill to be settled before we had finished. However we were still on our first drinks when the waiter came over to present the bill and then actually took the cash out of my hand as I was trying to count and work out who owed what. Very disappointing

An excellent spot in the heart of the old City amongst lots of other restaurants and bars which maybe we should have visited instead. It was interesting to see the interaction with the local clientele which was really friendly and the service appeared to be superb. Sadly this did not transcend to us, maybe because we were English? Even though we ordered our drinks in French, the waiting staff responded in English and were not friendly at all - throwing our change on the table rudely without a merci, thank you or even looking at us. Such a shame. St Malo is a must place to visit but not this bar who clearly do not like the English. Lots of other bars to choose from so give this one a miss. Disgraceful service.

They don't serve food but don't mind if you bring your own so if you don't want a full blown lunch you can get a baguette and bring it here and sit and people watch. Really clean and a lovely outside area with good service. Good choice of drinks.

We had a simple breakfast at this place for several mornings in a row - formule cafe+croissant only 3 euros, less than you would pay at the nearest boulangerie. Cafe creme was always good, croissants even better. Morning service - nothing to complain about, quick, efficient and with a smile.
