A fantastic array of fine French food and wine. Heaven! I would say it was rather expensive however the quality was also outstanding so very worth it.

Indoor food market with excellent choice of seafood, meats, cheeses, bread, cakes etc. The outdoor part of the market also sold flowers, beautiful cashmere jumpers, coats and scarfs and a whole host of Christmas present ideas.

I found the market expensive €80 for shoes on a stall seemed high. Cheese at €28 a kilo was not a special price. Having said that there was a very good range of fresh seafood, meats and vegetables.

Grand marché takes place on Tue, Thu, and Sat, until 13:00. About 300 stools of merchandise on top of the covered Les Halles that holds some really fine fodds of many sorts. For all French-cheese lovers there are 2 very good fromageries! My best is Fromagerie Crèmerie Lorent Serge!…
