Huge cathedral with many beautiful stained glass windows and small alcoves and altars. Main altar is set forward of rear wall so it’s possible to walk behind it.

So lovely to still be able to lit candles in this ancient church. Old glass and frescos inside. This church is still being used today by parishioners.

Nice example of a fairly early Gothic church. Not fancy, somewhat squat and sturdy like the Bretagne people. The stainglass windows tell the story of Anne of Britney and there is a touching window commemorating the lost of World War I.

Most towns in France have beautiful churches, this is one no exception. Not much from outside, inside is something else, just "spectacular" and full of history. You will need more than a basic knowledge of the language to appreciate the full history.

Very tall columns with a oak ceiling. Very ornate centre piece. You can walk around the central worship area.

Beautiful and charming church that is more than 700 years old. Stumbled unto it whilst navigating the tiny medieval streets of the old town. Well worth a visit while in Dinan. Make sure you visit the rampart with an amazing panoramic view of the bridge...More
