This aquarium is not average or disappointing at all! On the contrary, this is a very good aquarium. A delight for children and adults alike! I had a great time here with a friend, seeing many kinds of fish I hadn't heard of before (for...More

Thank you very much for your 5-star review about us. It is definitely true that Océanopolis is made for both adults and kids. Arriving in the morning is a good idea as well. It will allow you to avoid crowds, especially during high season. Thank...More

We went there in autumn. It was a nice visit in Brittany's weird weather. Planned to go with our 2 nephews but didn't happen. We saw the seal feeding show, that was funny. My favorite spot is the shark aquarium, penguin and the sea otter...More

Given the description on the web site we were expecting something amazing. It did not live up to the on line descriptions. A few large tanks, but far too many videos and models. Very dark in places with confusing lay outs.Reasonable restaurant with hot and...More

Have been to better aquariums in other parts of the world so I'm not very impressed with oceanopolis for the price paid. Facilities and building were a little old. Visited oceanopolis because of 2 year old niece who loves fishes and animals!

Depending on how many aquariums one have visited before, this is in my opinion quite average. On the positive side is the huge tanks where you can watch fairly large sharks swimming around, together with other smaller and large fishes. And one can find other interesting...More

After reading some of the reviews from those dissatisfied with the aquarium I was hesitant as to whether I should visit. The Aquarium is truly excellent. we visited in august, there were no queues (arrived around lunchtime), yes it was expensive,(what family attraction isn't), but...More

Disappointed with our visit, we almost spent longer queuing to get in than we did in the there. Far too many people allowed in, so trying to see the exhibits was very difficult. So many rude people happy to push others out the way to...More

We spent about 4-5 hours here, having a look at all the exhibited sea-life. The tropical pavillion was the most beautiful, but I was also very impressed by the Bretagne pavillion. The arctic pavillion was a bit less impressive. In all a lot of information,...More
