Overview
More
The sandy beach and the pebbles is surrounded by the campsites of the district of Erromardie. It is a quiet beach where it is essential to come with its seal and its landing net in low tide to look for crabs in the visible rocks. You will find around some little beach bars opened with the sun. Bathing watched every day in July and August from 11 am till 7 pm.

Good family beach since the water is usually not real rough. Ample parking about 100 meters away. Lots of campgrounds so the summer time gets a bit crowded. The nice thing about this beach is that it has two really neat bars that you can...More

I love this beach because it's not really like all the other beaches on the Basque coast. The most immediate thing you notice is that wonderful smell of the iodine, there's seaweed and it's quite wild. There is also huge rocks on the beach and...More

After eating breakfast on the square we walked from one end of the beach to the other enjoying both the beach itself and the residences that line promanade.

After viewing the eco museum, we continued up the road, parked at the headland, and walked down the road. Brilliant beach and lovely restaurant there too. Great for surfers.

In September this is a beautifully quiet beach. We walked from St Jean and had a beer while watching children searching the many rock pools. We wish we could come here with our grandchildren - they would love it!

Beach has a bar which is open until late. Some sand but quite a bit of shingle etc. You can walk from the beach into St Jean via a footpath. About 2 km

we visited the beach which was very close to our campsite. The sand is quite course, but was cleaned every day by tractor. On days when the sea was quite rough, this made for some excellent surfing, which we spent lots of time watching. Overall...More

Pretty harbour flanked by stylish old houses. Clean sweep of sandy beach close to restaurants and shops. So worth a visit

The scenary and water are lovely but the kids really struggled with the rock beach, refused to go into the water. When tide is out, then it's very shallow as well so you can't actually swim.
