Charming and relaxing city, worth visit for 3 to 4 nights if you are not rush in time. About 2 hours by local bus from Lvliang, every morning several buses departure to Qikou.

Great if your a hipster and want some random country pics for instagram but otherwise too much effort for very little reward. Now there is a 100RMB charge for entering the city.

Good base for seeing the locality. With mountain villages and boat trips. The village itself is interesting but limited in content. Hotel accommodation was clean, Western toilets and great views of Yellow River.

The town of Qikou is cute, very small but has personality. There is not much to see, except from a temple, there is people waiting to guide you once you leave the bus that want money to show you around, just keep walking or cross...More
