Not cheap (even with weak sterling!) but lovely selection of Bordeaux wines in several formats. The building is fascinating (and hard to photograph) and shop staff welcoming and well informed.

L'Intendant spirals up five stories displaying its ware in a truly unique and beautiful manner. Prices may be on the high end but the selection is tough to beat. The shop is worth visiting for its architectural beauty.

One of the best-looking locations in Bordeaux, L'intendant is famous for its three stories high wine cellar. And you may even visit only to have a look look. The choice in wines you can buy is highly unusual, from top-quality to more accessible wines (no...More

Presentation is spectacular, good choice of wineyards and vintages (however much less than online Millesima). Prices are however far too high, 30 to 40% higher than in other places for the very same bottle. too bad

Amazing historic wine store. Very cool design with wines arranged on spiral staircase. Knowledgeable staff. Great wines.

Although I did not find the staff very friendly (I was constantly monitored), it is undoubtedly an incredibly rich place for those searching for classical Bordeaux wines, though prices might not be the best around the area.

Being a wine lover, we were recommended to visit this unique store when we arrive in Bordeaux. On the outside, the store did not look impressive. In fact, the store front looked quite small. However, upon entering and looking straight up, you will realize the...More

This is worth the visit. In the middle of Bordeaux you have this small space built over many floors. Wines from all the regions are here, and the staff here is very knowledgable.
