This neighborhood has some beautiful architecture. I was able to find some really lovely Art Nouveau buildings also. It is a very grand area to walk through.

This part of the city is very different from the Old town. Here are more modern houses, wide streets, spacious squares. Here is located the former Imperial Palace, the University, the big garrison Church.

This area is not covered in the walking tours but provides a fascinating look into the history of the city and its German roots. It is well worth a stroll through the streets to enjoy the different architectural style.

Different architecture than in the other parts of Strasbourg. It is not a big area but well worth visiting.
