This church is exceptional and spectacular: the only existing rood-screen (jubé) in Strasbourg, mediaeval frescoes on the wall and a Silbermann organ. It doesn't seem to be on the main tourist routes but is, after the cathedral, the biggest must-see of religious architecture in Strasbourg,...More

spent a little while puzzling why this is St Pierre le Jeune when it seems older than St Pierre le Vieux. Whereas le vieux is quite austere, le Jeune is full of interesting nooks and crannies and murals. There is also a useful guide in...More

Well worth a visit while in Strasbourg. Is about a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral. Free entry, but donations are certainly appreciated. Do check opening times, on Monday it opens at 1pm. This church was originally Catholic but became Protestant during the reformation. The...More

We were lucky to visit the neighborhood to visit this plain church that looks not too interesting but find the inside more beautiful than we were thought because of its fabulous and brilliant wall display through its meticulous and perfect paintings that is very different...More

On my first day in Strasbourg, a trip where I accompanied my wife who was traveling there on business, she was having meetings at the Sofitel Strasbourg. I walked toward the hotel in the late afternoon to meet her and then get some dinner, but...More

This was very well in my plans to visit this church. From outside it looks very plain and simple. But once you get inside, the church looks brilliant. The wall paintings are very nice. Worth a visit.
