I think there should be a reward for locating the museum's entrance. I’ll bet that even Strasbourgers don’t know where it is. It’s as if they don’t want any visitors. And sure enough, we were the only visitors for two hours on a Sunday afternoon....More

I have to visit at least one museum in each city i travel to get to know a little bit more about the history of the city and area around, this one is real great from the early ages to the present, very well done

Visited this museum on a whim with or last few hours in Strasbourg, and I am so glad we did! It turned out to be our favorite of the museums we saw in town (much more interesting than the Palais Rohan museums). Really interesting history...More

If you only have time to do one museum in Strasbourg then this is the one , fantastic amount of information well laid out with a really good audio guide, many exhibits that you can actually touch without staff having a hissy fit, would highly...More

A very well organised museum presenting amazing information on the history of Strasbourg and Alsace. Visits are free to the public on the first Sunday of every month.
