Great place, great things on display too, really really good visit, I went with my kids and they had the good time, was a bit embarassing due to the fact that many of my own private things were on show...But we survived

..... it's bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. What a great and well presented set of collections, charting the story of Doncaster from pre history to its railways and its racecourse. Well laid out and much to see. The current Home...More

Well designed and presented with a great variety of exhibits and displays, including the geology of the area and local history through the ages. I was particularly interested in the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry Regimental Gallery. Certainly something for all the family to enjoy...More

A fantastic day out was had here at Doncaster Museum, it's free with a variety of great exhibits, from animals to art! The building is a bit dated but it adds to the character.More

lovely museum, lots of interesting exhibits to look at and read about. Great to read the history of the area through the ages, Plenty of things to keep children occupied, tunnels to crawl through and games to play

Wide range of exhibits that will keep most people interested for at least a couple of hours. Must surely be one of the best museums in towns of this size.

Spent a nice coupe of hours looking round this museum. Good disabled access to ground floor and a lift (all be a goods lift - but what does that matter!) to the upper floor.

Sorry we have taken a long time to reply, but our opening hours are Wednesday to Friday 10am - 4.30pm. Saturday and Sunday 10.30am to 4.15pm
