Free Museum - interesting mix of different eras. Enough variety to keep old and young entertained. Great cafe(more like a bistro than a cafe)- excellent scrambled eggs with wholemeal toasts (Note breakfast only served until 12) Great park for picnics and stroll around the lakes

We live locally and visit 2 or 3 times each week. The wild garlic is a particular treat in the Spring. There are a number of walks around the park and of course the museum.

Lovely place to spend some time walking in the countryside, enjoying the stunning views. When you have finished there is a great little cafe where they serve amazing scones.

We made another trip to Cusworth Hall, for a beautiful stroll with the grandchildren followed by lunch. The café menu was delightful. An hour over a cheese, ham and porkpie ploughman's was perfect. We will be back!

We went around the museum which was much better than I expected, there's lots to look at for a free museum. Then sat and had a picnic on the grass where the view was amazing.
