The Roman Catholic cathedral is one of the very fine attractions in Lancaster. From the outside it is a classic Gothic church with a very tall spire. Inside, it is unexpectedly magnificent. A great number of stained glass windows, but other very fine decoration too....More

A beautiful church building which is a working cathedral. The stained glass windows are intricate and the architecture is amazing. A real peace to this building.

Catholic Cathedral just outside the town centre. 5 min walk car park attached to the church. Free to enter , but always better to leave a donation.

During a walk to burn off breakfast we came across this cathedral. Stained glass is terrific and the gothic architecture is combined with what appears to be a Tudor inspired timber ceiling.

Not the largest cathedral but still an impressive building. The signposting could definitely be improved to the cathedral.
