A walk up the Wrekin is a regular (ish) treat for our family. If you can, try to go mid week as it's a lot less busy.

Driving to Ironbridge we drove through the area of The Wrekin. Very pretty hilly ridge with good views across Shropshire.

Great walk. BUsy stretch from near the Buckatree Hotel, but quieter down Little Hill. Don’t be fools though, littlle hill is seriously steep. Beautiful views from the top.

Great exercise on the climb. Fantastic view at the top. There is a large map of all you can see. Plenty of paths for all to explore.

A bit muddy in winter but a good walk to top if you are a bit fit. Cafe third of way up. Magical hill.

Great day out, bit hard work with a pushchair as lots of loose gravel, but it's a hill....so that's to be expected. Great view from the top....give it a go.

Its free and good for one's health. It can get quite busy later in the day. I love going up there, but I always find the first section tough!
