Hard to look at Gloucester Archives as an "attraction" in the same way as being compelled to visit the Cathedral or one of Gloucester's endless wonderful hstorical buildings. Nevertheless it is interesting to discover the Archives are very highly rated as such and deservedly so....More

We were impressed by the helpful staff who assisted us in finding a Marriage certificate of my Great Great Grandparents dated 1842. We then visited the Church where they were married. Plan to visit and spend more time to discover more about my ancestors.
