My husband and I took 44 Canadian on an tour of Ireland. We spent the evening at Dunguire Castle enjoying a fantastic show and supper. The fabulous actor and actresses did a beautiful presentation of Irish Literary and their voices where out of the world..........More

Irish Tower House type/style similar to Blarney Castle (although not as large - & only 4 floors). Technically neither are actually castles. Originally build in 1520. Very well preserved and even updated/expanded through the centuries. Go to the top for a nice view of the...More

This was enjoyable and interesting, but not for everyone. I would recommend it to those who wanted to experience something different and eat in a castle!

This is not a "stunning" castle, but is a lovely example of a traditional Irish castle. A few rooms are furnished and they are all accessed by a common stairwell. It is off by itself and not hugely marketed and because of that we were...More

Just a really cool looking medival castle. The castle in it self is impressive, and the location beautiful. But the price to go up in the tower and for a tour of the very small castle is very steep with the little to see/do in...More

We did not do the banquet but instead drove out to see the castle as the pictures looked fantastic. We were disappointed in the castle tour and would not recommend it unless you wanted to see the area and had lots of time, and then...More

The cast of the dinner theater and the food and service was great! Thoroughly enjoyed it. My daughter was the recipient of the evening's Claddagh ring gift which was very sweet. If there was any issue, it was just that it's on the expensive side.

I remember a sign that said it was not wheelchair accessible. There are some stairs, but not many.
