St. Michin's church is one of those places in Dublin that is usually by-passed by the average tourist. Indeed, not many Dubliners even know about it. A church has been on the site since the 12th century and, situated on the north side of the...More

I was thinking a long time to visit this church with the crypts. So it happened to pass by and pop in to check if I could see it. The guy who is issuing the tickets appeared in a very bored and rude manner and...More

The site is smaller would take 5 minutes to walk through the church and backyard. The tour guide is funny and very knowledgeable of the history of these creeps. The tour itself takes 15 minutes. 6 euros per person.

The church itself is lovely. The glass window, the organ, the WW! honor roll, praying pillows...... But we came to see the catacombs. Our guide, a lovely Irish chap, was delightful. Amazing stories and beautiful adornments on some of the coffins. I wished the mummy...More

St. Michan's is definitely worth a visit. The quick tour allows you to see the crypts below the church, as well as a number of mummified bodies. A great atmospheric exhibit, and quite creepy.

St. Michan's will take you into their crypts. It is a small tour, a little creepy, good stories, but interesting and a good stop. The tour is fairly short, depending on the number of people. I was able to just stop in no per-ticket purchase...More

The guide was fantastic. It was so interesting to see natural mummies. I loved every bit of it. The bodies are well persevered.

Meaning to visit the mummies in the crypt of one of the oldest Churches in Dublin for years. Finally! The tour was great - guide was very droll, black humour- like something out of a Samuel Beckett play. He slagged (teased) everyone! History of mummified...More

You gotta do this if you like crypts! Extremely old church with an 800 year old mummy from the Crusades who was 6.5 feet tall! The guide is hilarious.

It was 3 or 4 Euros this year. Call ahead to make sure they'll have a tour guide available when you wish to go or you won't get to see the crypt.
