Happened to have a choir from outside New York City the day we visited. They were so good and it added to our site seeing visit. Loved seeing the heart tomb of Lawrence O'Toole I had read about and the mummy of the cat and...More

I brought a group of Trainee Tourist Guides to Christ Church on Thursday last and, despite the preparations for that afternoon's performance, it was as good a tour as you could get. The Guide, Daire, tailored the tour to his group, both in terms of...More

We were a group of four people. We had a little boy who was too small to climb the belfry and ring the bells. We (he and I) amused ourselves in the crypt while waiting for our tour group. The Tour guide was very entertaining...More

This is a beautiful, very large cathedral with a crypt in the basement, which I thought was really neat. I kind of thought it was odd that they charge for entry...I've been to dozens of cathedrals all over Europe and never have had to pay...More

Went on this tour last Friday, wasn’t booked, went in as last minute decision. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable not just on the cathedral but on Dublin in general. You get to climb the tower to pull on the bells, and visit the crypt...More

We were in a rush and didn't want to take the guided tour. Big mistake. The basement was well documented but no one to answer questions. The public restrooms were closed to the public due to remodeling. The first floor had very little information. One...More

Using the excellent City Sight Seeing bus tour, you pass this impressive cathedral. Get off the bus, visit this place (worth a visit), then back on the bus to carry on your sight seeing.
