I sat in Neary's last Sunday afternoon. The sun sliced through the door as folk came and went but Neary's and the Guinness were cool and dark and I couldn't think of a happier place to be. I'm sure the other two customers would agree...More

Nice pub but unfortunately that same rude bar man still works here. I hadn’t stepped foot in Nearys in over a year due to the sane rude bar man. Ah well. If you can get past him, the bar is well worth a look for...More

Plenty of Victorian decor and the best pint of Guinness I have had in 3 days in Dublin. Also a nice seating area outside.

A decent pint of Guinness in great surroundings and served by well dressed and knowledgable folk. Highly recommended for a business debrief.

This is a very nice pub that seems to be popular with the locals. It is a bit no-frills but this is exactly what makes it charming. We had some lovely whiskey samples from their large selection of Irish whiskeys and some pints of Irish...More

I've been coming here for years (15, 20 years?) and thankfully it hasn't changed. I come in here about once a year, and usually have a Guinness and a sandwich (the salmon and the roast beef sandwiches are my favourites). It's usually lunchtime when I'm...More

Had a great night on Nearys recently, a lovely buzzing pub a short few metres from St Stephens Green and Grafton Street very close to the Olympia Theatre. Really nice interior with good music and good beer. We didn't eat here but the food looked...More

One of my favourite old school pubs in Dublin. Great Guinness, great service and really comfortable for a good catch up with a couple of friends.
