My family and I spent 2 weeks in Ireland and one of those days was a memorable one in Cork. I traveled with my husband and 4 children 19 and up. We hoped we would experience a true Irish pub and we did!! Costigan's Pub lived up to everything you would imagine an Irish pub would be. The Pub has been there since 1849, awesome music, the Guinness was great and Colm and his team were fantastic!!! We all talked and laughed with Colm while sitting outside the bar and my kids had a blast with the bartenders and locals in the pub. Thank you, Colm (and everyone else), for giving us such a lovely evening. It truly was a memorable night and hope to be back one day soon!!!! Rose

I booked an area with Colm and he made everything so relaxed and easy. We went to Costigans after we got married with all our friends and family. The staff on the day were excellent, so friendly and helpful. The finger food was delicious. It was a great day. Thanks again.

Great place to go have drinks with friends. Brian, Colm and their staff are top class. Huge selection of drinks and savage pizzas Ryan is one of the best doormen I've ever met, always courteous and polite. I came here on a Thursday night and the live music with Darragh Lee was simply outstanding

When myself and my housemates first entered Costigans pub in September of 2020 we were on the hunt for a pub which could provide the perfect balance of local warmth and vibrant nightlife and I think it’s safe to say that we found that in spades. With its cosy atmosphere and the friendliest of staff, it’s no wonder we never stopped going back. From its incredible whiskey selection to its creative cocktails there was something for all of us, including the best Guinness in Cork! One of the things that sets Costigans apart is it’s welcoming ambience. Whenever we entered the pub throughout our time living close by we were always able to rely on a friendly face to cheer us up. Another highlight of our time in Costigans was it’s live music on the biggest of nights. The pub often hosts talented local musicians, adding a lively and entertaining element to every big party we had (and there were many). Costigans is a pub that has provided us with four years of enjoyable memories. Thanks to Colm, Brian and all the many wonderful staff for their fantastic hospitality throughout the years, and for tolerating some Kerry troublemakers, which was never easy! If you’re ever in Cork I could not recommend it highly enough for a memorable pub experience that was a huge part of our lives for so long! Slán Leat!

Stopped by late afternoon (party of 16) to get a pint or two. Great decor and selection of drinks. The staff were the hi-lite of this visit. Sofia and Dylan were absolutely the best. Friendly, funny and explained the different beers and gins and whiskeys. The twenty-somethings had a great time trying different drinks while the "mature" members of our group enjoyed the interactions between the bartenders and our group.

Well if you need great service (they'll drop the pint to you, like a pub somewhere I know :), smiles, bit of banter and a great pint, this is all you need to seek out. My wife and I were down to see Mick Flannery, and were staying up the road in lodgings with no Sky. We NEEDED to see a F2 race. So we popped in an asked. No problem, while big matches were on, we were accommodated. Then we asked could we arrange same for following day? No problem. The guys and gals couldn't have been more kind. (Cork were playing Dublin, like:) So thank you very very much, my wife was delighted. A smashing, homely, rare Irish pub, that "gets it right, with ease". Manager is a gentleman and the rest of the team, courteous and switched on. We will be back, next time we are down, and shall spread the word to pals to stop in for tipple. Thanks a mill' folks!!
