Disclaimer: not Catholic and only slightly religious.

The experience at the Holy Trinity was breath-taking and I spent an entire hour just sitting in a pew practicing mindfulness as well as scribbling in my journal. The ambiance alone in the church almost demands self-reflection and inward peace.

This is an beautiful building right in the heart of the city and next to the south channel of the river Lee. The external architecture is incredible and it is a substantial structure by any standards. The interior is equally pleasing and there doesn't seem to be an issue with photography, so get snapping. Cross the river using the Trinity foot bridge and take some decent shots!

Inspite of getting there in darkness, the church is amazing! Easy to reach it from the town centre..

Beautiful church found by accident in pouring rain. Was surprised to find a statue of Padre Pio but very happy to be able to light a candle there,

While in town recently I paid a visit to Holy Trinity church. It was lovely and peaceful and made it easy to reflect. There were lots of locals and visitors coming and going. It is a beautiful church. The architecture is just amazing. Well worth a visit.

It's an architectural gem inside and out. I was there when it was under maintenance but that made it all the more interesting.
