Thanks for a great experience. The personal touch that came with it makes it one that my family and I will remember for a long time. The dedication shown of getting everyone to understand Cork and its History really showed. The level of interaction and time taken is so unique. After being to so many locations around Ireland that are proud of their event centres the realness of the Artists in Hysterical histories made the history come to life in a way my Children really enjoyed.(Not my words but theirs and they are a tough crowd!) I learned about Cork and enjoyed the Music and singing. It had everything. It was the highlight of our Summer Holidays. More please and keep up the Good work

Our kids 7 and 9 are huge Horrible Histories fans, but even if you don't know that series you will still enjoy this night. Food was simple but hit the spot, and the food experience itself was made fun because of its format (family style, even at plate cleanup). The three actors had an original repertoire, many hilarious characters, solid songs and a welcoming personality. We were 15 minutes late because of a crash near the city and they were kind enough to hold everything till we showed up. Highly recommended.

My husband and I visited this tavern our second night in Cork and it was one of our favorite experiences. You get to enjoy a traditional Irish dinner and dessert while you enjoy the hysterical cast and learn about Cork's history. Well work the trip and it was only a 20 minute walk from our air bnb!

Not just one of the best nights of the holiday but one of the most fun evenings out I can remember. All four of us came away buzzing. The setting is pretty unique while the food and the show were great. We loved the little touches like the authentic 1779 menu and the show reminded me of the reduced Shakespeare Company. It was funny, informative & in places sad & thought provoking too. The cast were not only very talented (the performance of Fields of Athenry was beautiful) but very friendly too. It really was an excellent way to spend an evening. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Went as a family of 4 with a 2 year old and a 6 year old. Initially I was a little worried if they would enjoy it and if it would be suitable. However, they loved it. The cast were great with the kids and everyone there and the meal was good as well. I would highly recommend as it was very funny and also interesting to learn more about Cork.

I laughed and even cried a bit. My teenage daughter laughed and was fully entertained. We saw it with 2 locals from County Cork and even they were impressed. The actors and music were a perfect blend of talent, timing and theme.
The food was hearty and authentic. They accommodated my vegetarian daughter’s needs. Stay around for another pint and some Traditional Irish music. A great time for all and you will learn a lot, belly laughing as you do.

A great fun night. We loved their whirlwind tour through Cork history. Oodles of scabrous Cork humour (and tasty stew too).

A very entertaining evening and unique experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the night. I’m from Cork but was blown away by its history, all told in a very funny and clever way. Great laughs, great stew and apple tart and lovely songs and music throughout.
Well done to the 3 actors and musician - amazing stuff. Thank you.

Very informative, even for a Cork native and very funny/entertaining. Perfect for tourists but also for a work night out or with kids - makes history fun and great catered food.
