We arrived before the castle even opened and were waiting at the end of the bridge. The lovely man taking tickets let me go part way before opening time to get a few photos with out people in them! It was the only rainy day...More

Eilean Donan Castle is probably the most photographed castle in Scotland, and it is easy to understand why. Its location on the rocky shore of Loch Duich is a photographers dream, as is the traditional and rather romantic shape of this iconic castle.
On tour and this was not a planned stop but was accomplished as a photo moment. Great gift shop, bathrooms and cafe.

It is best castle in Highland, very well restaurated, all inside is like it is living place now, stunning museum, i liked all there , specially intresting is kitchen, where is even recipies from this time
