Long drive for a castle that wasn’t what I expected. It’s been largely recreated and you aren’t allowed to take pictures inside. There is a fee if you’re not a historic Scotland member.

Unfortunately no, it's about 8 or 9 miles between them. There are buses but not frequent. Sorry I don't have timetables.Try McRae Kintail and City Link websites - if you're lucky, they may fit in with train times. There are... More
