Colloqially known as the "Squinty Bridge", it's both a traffic and foot bridge. Ever since it's been built, it's provided a really convenient way to get from the Finnieston part of the Glasgow West End across the River Clyde. It's a pretty bridge with a...More

This bridge is a very welcome addition to the west end as it offers a short cut to the new BBC buildings and the Science centre(and a few more places too). It looks lovely in the dark all lit up. However when travelling south to...More

A nice new bridge that was built a few years ago. The Clyde Arc Bridge is also known as the Squinty Bridge. I did not get to see much of the squint but it does look wonderful when it is lit up at night.

What can you say about a bridge. Nice arch, but that's about it. Very strange traffic flow, and if trying to cross from one side of the bridge to another, you've got to take real care.

We came across the bridge today and the design is superb. Can see why it is called the squiggly bridge. Great way to cross to the Hydro and the Armadillo.

I am no architect or normally overly interested in structures like a new bridge, however I have been impressed by this bridge since it opened a few years back. Known locally as The Squinty Bridge - it was a much needed bridge to make a...More

Like name says, it crosses over Clyde River. Beautiful Bridge, that offers great sunset views. Opened 2006, so it's one of the newest bridges in Glasgow. Lot to see and do nearby, like Bells Bridge, Science Center, Clydeside Distillery and Riverside Museum

I recommend going to see the Arc bridge just before sunset, you will see the most beautiful sunset ever. Just make sure it is not a cloudy day!

I do like the "squinty bridge", it is typical of Glasgow's irreverent sense of humour. From it you get great views of - the SEC, BBC, Hydro, Science Centre and the Finnieston Crane. It looks even better to see it lit up at night. Believe...More
