About
Following an eight month £5.7m refurbishment, The Corinthian Club reopened its doors in late August 2010.Scotland’s leading artisan craftsmen spent hundreds of man-hours painstakingly creating aspects of the building, including a mosaic floor made of more than half a million tiles, over a thousand hand moulded acanthus leaves, fitting hand carved panels and restoring ornate wooden detailing. The iconic 26’ Corinthian dome remains a focal point in the new Tellers Bar and Brasserie where designers have also uncovered a stairway, once the route to the cells of the High Court, which now leads to the relaxed, organically-styled Mash and Press Rooms.A new addition to the venue, The Corinthian Club now boasts the most stunning gaming facilities in the country.Other highlights include the glittering Boutique, offering everything from afternoon tea to evening cocktails and housing the venue’s high-end retail space for ladies to enjoy a spot of retail therapy in the luxurious comfort of the plush velvet and sparkling crystal interior. It’s the first time a Glasgow entertainment venue has incorporated a pop-up retail space into one of its bars and, true to style, The Corinthian Club’s range has already featured high-end clothing and accessories from Comme des Garçons, Agent Provocateur and Boudiche.Bootleg takes its inspiration from a 1920s American speakeasy and is proving a huge hit with gents. Serving the finest matured sprits from around the world, Bootleg is also home to a secret cocktail which, in homage to its speakeasy roots, is only available to those who know it exists. The bar itself is fashioned out of traditional bank safes and the floor is made from a 500,000 piece mosaic tiles which have been painstakingly hand-crafted to form the image of Queen Victoria as she appeared on old banknotes - in a nod to the building’s past life as the Union Bank of Scotland. The new Corinthian Club has revolutionised Glasgow’s meeting, eating, socialising and gaming scene, boasting 14 rooms spaced across 5 floors. Creating more than 200 jobs for the city, the unique venue is open 24 hours and is the only one of its kind in the UK to offer a range of bars, clubs, restaurant, meetings rooms as well as a stunning gaming room all under one roof.Preserving much of the 260 year old Grade A listed building, internationally renowned Glasgow design firm Graven Images was commissioned to work alongside Scotland’s leading artisans - creating a stunning fusion of traditional craftsmanship and cool modern design.

- Millie M2 contributionsVenue wow, service WOW.I came here for a dinner a couple of weekends ago and WOW. Beautiful venue, the food was delicious - I had the linguine. But truly the service was unbeatable. Nicola (hopefully got the name right) was so hospitable from start to finish. It’s a task to dine at such a beautiful venue but have such familial service and that’s exactly what she delivered. Will DEFINITELY be back.Visited March 2023Traveled with friendsWritten April 13, 2023
- AK WallsLos Angeles, California42 contributionsCocktailsIt's always a must for me whenever I'm in Glasgow. Always stop off here for a cocktail or two in between shopping, food or walking around. The vibe is just so nice and mellow. The architecture alone is outstanding. The high vaulted ceiling is just beautiful. If you ever get a chance, stop by even if it's just to pop in for a peek. You'll want to stay for the vibe.Visited May 2023Written May 25, 2023
- David S7 contributionsAfternoon Tea and Drinks in The CorinthianMy family, 6 adults and 4 children enjoyed the afternoon tea in the Corinthian. The food was great, a really nice variety of cakes and sandwiches. They also provided good alternatives for the guests with allergies with no issue. George looked after the table extremely well, nothing was ever an issue and made sure all the children were well taken care of, kids mocktails were a hit! George had an unbelievable knowledge about the history of the building all through the ages and also Glasgow architecture in general. It's well worth asking him a question about it's previous uses if you are lucky enough to be served by him as he is better than most tour guides. All in all, thoroughly recommended for a treat one afternoon.Visited June 2023Traveled with familyWritten June 10, 2023

- DawnAmandaHelensburgh, United Kingdom70 contributionsManagement MasterclassWe booked a graduation dinner to celebrate with friends and family, however during the evening there were a few mishaps. Despite the food and staff being excellent, the experience and service were challenging and we feared a total disaster on the horizon. How wrong! The manager went above and beyond to make our night the best it could be and completely turned the situation around. Customer service to be proud of and very rare in todays world. The sign of a good business is how they deal with problems, and this was truly fantastic. Thankyou from all of us!Visited June 2023Traveled with familyWritten June 30, 2023
- Kevin C3 contributionsShakieras graduationFirst time visiting for niece’s graduation interior of the building is a must see experience . Due to unforeseen circumstances there was a delay in getting our drinks and meal orders taken but when we were finally attended to by our server Chelsea everything turned out to be worth the wait . Chelsea was attentive would continue to return and advise us of the status of our drinks and meal as to when they woul arrive , whilst we were aware of how busy she was with other customers she still had the time to provide us with a 1st class service . Chelsea is a credit and a great asset to your company. Overall we had a fabulous meal and a brilliant experience .Visited June 2023Traveled with familyWritten July 1, 2023

- David MGlasgow, United Kingdom7 contributionsPerfect venue for our surprise 60th partyCan't praise this venue high enough, booked the Flying Scotsman room for my wife's surprise 60th Birthday. A stunning room which was perfect size for our 80 odd guests. Jill from the Events team deserves special praise for her professionalism throughout the whole process from my initial viewing to the organisation of the evening. The finger buffet was superb, and they cater for all necessary dietary requirements. The staff at the bar were all excellent and the DJ provided by the venue was 1st class. A wonderful evening and highly recommended. Thank you Jill and all your team and the staffVisited July 2023Traveled with friendsWritten August 11, 2023

Went with my mum for afternoon tea on Mother's day. We arrived were seated drinks ordered everything fine. We then waited over 30 minutes for the afternoon tea. Tables that came in aftwr us for afternoon tea were served before us. I asked the waitress if she knew how long it would be and she said she would go and check. 10 minutes later a waitress came over with the afternoon tea with no explanation what anything was. I have had afternoon tea loads of time in different venues and there is always an explanation of what is on each tier. The afternoon tea itself was fine, nothing to complain about but definitely nothing to write home about. Browns or grand Central are better in my opinion and close by.

We were here yesterday for my best friend's hen do. We hired the Nosey Parkers room for the boozy brunch then did the cocktail making class afterwards. The staff were amazing, very friendly and attentive and made the experience go very smoothly. Paula who took us for the cocktail making class was brilliant, she was a real natural with the group and ensured everyone was having fun. Thank you for helping my bride to be have the best day. 💕💕

Was booked for dinner before a night out with my wife. The Corinthian is a beautiful building and the food was the same. I had the haggis tart for starters and steak frites for my main. Both were beautiful and the steak was perfect. Our server, Molly, was very attentive and ensured we were taken care of throughout our time there. Would highly recommend.

Hi, I was wondering if there’s any soft drinks available? I was planning on taking the wife but due to medication she’s unable to drink alcohol

Hi can anyone tell me a email contact address or name to call as I want to contact the hotel as my Mum and her friend are going there very soon and want to try to arrange a suitable room as they are celebrating their 80th birthdays, although both fit and young at heart! Also to try and arrange a bottle of wine or something for them? Thanks in advance x
