Not giving too much away, this place has a lot of charm, excellent cocktails with lots of flare. Not too expensive, especially considering it's central location & unique feel. Staff also extremely friendly without being overbearing.

That is an amazing secret bar! They have a great variety of cocktails, which may be served in a very interesting way, e.g. one cocktail is served in the chinese food takeaway box! This bar was totally something new for me and I’ll be back.

I used to like this place and I have been there a few times. Sadly, yesterday I had to witness a costumer bully the waitress. Two guys decided it was a fun idea to start throwing pop corn at a waitress, she asked them to...More

I took my sister here on her second visit to Edinburgh. We loved the secret element of the bar and the variety of ways in which the cocktails were served. I had the one in a tea cup that came with shortbread and if tasted...More

I was hesitant to write this review as I didn’t want to let the secret out. Wonderful drinks, great staff who seemed to be enjoying themselves, and the sheer fun of finding the place makes it a 5 star experience!

It’s great! From the Doorman to the trendy basement bar the atmosphere is superb. The drinks menu is creatively presented as a storybook. The drinks are very creative too, from hot Jasmine towels to smoke filled bell jars it’s great drama in a drink! Definitely...More

Was desperate to visit here after seeing it on Facebook, and we weren’t disappointed! Everything about it was amazing, from the cocktails to the service, decor, complimentary popcorn which gets replaced as soon as it’s empty. Will definitely be back next time we are in...More

A good concept of a bar disguised as a barber shop from upstairs and a bar down. The service is second to none, great friendly hard working staff, clean premises and some quirky cocktails. On the downside, some cocktails are in my opinion over priced...More

Visited on Sunday night, not very busy, which was great. Our server Leon was amazing. He asked questions about the types of drinks we liked and then picked the best fit for us. He was personable and made the visit fun. The attention to detail...More

Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town,

It’s extremely busy most nights so I would especially if it’s for a large group. My Favourite spot is in the Bombay Saphire room.
