The walking tours are the best way to get some historical background on a city, with the fun twist of storytelling. The hosts are so well informed, and game to put on the show. We really enjoyed it, and would suggest it for anyone!

What a fun way to spend and hour. You walk around royal mile and learn a few facts. Then you head underground. The rooms are creepy and filled with damp drippy walls and ceilings. John was our guide and he did a great job. I...More

My first thought was I wish I had put a hat on, chilly when having to stand around at various points, come prepared that's my advice. Our guide was Lydia, very much a great entertainer impressive with long red dreadlocks and black full length cape....More

Full of facts and great group for the tour. Very interesting and would recommend this to anyone. The price and length of the tour was spot on and couldn't fault it

Interesting tour with a knowledgeable guide, who happened to be French. Seeing bits of Edinburgh that you wouldn't necessary realise where there.

Thank you James for this very interesting Ghost-Underground tour. It was very funny and creepy. It was interesting to learn something about the "other side" of Edinburgh. Information they are not written in all the travel-books.

Well worth paying £7 per head to participate in this walking tour that is both insightful and informative. A particular highlight was being taken into the vaults where you are told three bone chilling stories that will linger in the back of your mind for...More

What a load of rubbish. We went on this one as they told us the other tours weren't running only to find walking through the graveyard that they were and that you can actually get into the covenanters prison. Probably should have guessed as the...More

Underground is very misleading. The only "underground" part of this tour is in an old basement. Nothing very spectacular about this tour, except for the guide. She did very well with the sub-par locations she had to work with. I would not suggest this tour...More

I really enjoyed the graveyard tour, the guide had a great deal of history about the graveyard and stores with a lot of facts and figures. The underground cavern resulted in almost 40 photos, many with orbs. Spooky and fun!!

Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavored souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
