Don't worry about the snow conditions...Seven days a week, fifty weeks a year, Midlothian Snowsports Centre, Hillend offers the exhilaration you would expect from Britain's longest and most challenging artificial ski slope. The two main slopes, two nursery slopes and jump slope are all floodlit and have something to offer every standard of skier or snowboarder. If you've never tried snowsports before, it's easy to start. Equipment is provided and a qualified team of instructors will introduce you to the first key fundamental steps you will need to take to the slopes. There are lessons for all levels, whether you are a keen racer or freestyler with race coaching and training also available. For an exhilarating alternative, try tubing or book a tubing party with party food and a free party bag included. After your session, why not relax in Cafe 360 and enjoy the stunning views of the Pentland Hills and keep an eye on all the action on the slopes .

No water, no services, no cafe and bad management. Midlothian really need to get a grip and sort this world class attraction out. It's a one out of ten at best
