The Dundee botanics are a bit off the beaten track but well worth searching out. They're between 2 and 3 miles west of the City centre pretty much in a residential area but easily accessible by car (good parking) or bus (250 yards from a...More

Nearly £20 for two mediocre mugs of coffee and a pair of bland toasted sarnies! This is not London.....and if it were I would expect better quality ingredients. Table service on the whole was good and the place was reasonably clean, shame about the ubiquitous...More

Visited with some reservations as I am a big fan of the Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, but I was pleasantly surprised. A lovely garden and glasshouse with various sections. A visit to the cafe is also recommended where the service was a little lacking, but...More

This is a very natural environment and so peaceful, ideal for a stroll while contemplating and clearing the cobwebs away. Some beautiful plants and trees. Amazing walks on a sunny day. You can even take your own wee picnic or stop in at the cafe...More

What a lovely place, with a small entrance fee. Don't expect a pruned-to-the ground place, everything is very natural, just as it should be. The Gardens are well laid out, with paved paths all the way, so should be suitable for wheel chairs. We saw...More

I used to come here a lot when I was a student at Dundee University. It's a great place to come for a wander just to clear your head. The gardens are absolutely lovely and well maintained. Plus it's free if you're a student!

It is free to get into the Cafe and £3.90 (as people have already said) to go into the gardens. Both worth a visit!

I am sure guide dogs are let in; perhaps you have a hearing assist dog? I'm sure if you could alert them of your visit, they would be accommodating. The cafe is small in width but long...and the servers have to be able to... More
