The Angus Kitchen is a Forfar based restaurant serving locally sourced, home cooked food on a lunch time and evening basis. We serve traditional, hearty meals from our lunch menu in conjunction with a varied and elegant evening menu. Wasn't impressed with Lunch. Pakora starter was good but when onto have macaroni cheese after being told only enough curry left for 2 (probably should have been portion for 1 / 1.5 person ) the chips were hard and not nice to eat and garlic...More

Visited here with friends after hearing under new management. The food was fantastic and service was very good. We ate from the 3 course set menu which was very good value for money. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

Been here again (by invitation and not choice) and its just as bad if not worse since the new management took over. Food very average and certain members of management staff who should not be working in this industry, especially front of house. Time will...More

Went in for the carvery on sunday night, food was lovely! Even had to have a toffee sunday to follow! :) What a difference since the new owner took over in November last year, keep up the good work! Roll on my next visit!
