Just let the dogs run loose and let them enjoy the four hills country walks around Kirkhill, Elrick, Brimmond and Tyrebagger.

Difficult to find at first, but is well worth the effort and it is an easy bit of local hill walking for the city dweller.

Well worth the walk. It has beautiful views looking out from Brimmond Hill towards the North Sea, Aberdeen City, Bennachie & Westhills.

The setting is beautiful with lots of trees and although hilly it is not unachievable by the average walker. The view over Aberdeen is amazing when you reach the top of the hills. There are different paths to take for different levels of fitness.

I started my adventure from the village of Kingswells. Lovely views from Brimmond and Elrick Hill. Kirkhill forest offered a few glimpses of Red Squirrels and Pine Martins.
